Mōna is the innermost and larger of the two natural satellites of Basis, the other being Aleya.

It has active cryovolcanic activity, some surface frozen water, and a thin atmosphere composed mostly of oxygen and nitrogen which appear as an almost indistinguishable light halo around it. (Agus, 2024)

Orbits every 18 days. (Agus, 2024)

There are frozen water deposits in the surface and liquid water reservoirs subsurface accompanied by channels. As a result, extremophile unicellular organisms survive. Mōna maintains a stable atmosphere despite the low gravity.
