If the parameter |house_type= is set it alters the display of the label next to the |noble_family= parameter. Instead of displaying the default "Noble family" (with a link to the article Nobility), the link is change to whatever the |house_type= is set to and the word "Family" is displayed in place of "Noble family". So for example if |house_type=Gentry is entered then the label is changed to Family.
