Usage
This template is a shortcut template of sorts. Niht stands for "national ice hockey team". It is used thus:
[[Brian Lawton]] played for {{niht|USA}}.
which comes out as:
- Brian Lawton played for USA.
What it does
In the example given above, the wikilink 'USA' links to the article about the national ice hockey team. Not to the article about the country.
