Qymophilia is the feeling or expression of interest in, respect for, and appreciation of Qymish people on the part of a non-Qymish person. More specifically, a Qymophile is someone who has a strongly positive predisposition or sympathy towards Qym and the Qymish people, with an admiration for their language and literature, culture (art, music, cuisine, etc.), history, or government. The phenomenon may also include a broader appreciation of the Sukatic peoples, of whom the Qymish people are a part. The opposite sentiment is known as Qymophobia.

Movies and TV series
Due to its demographic weight, Qymish movies and TV series dominate domestically and at the continental level in Meran, spreading Qymish fashion, scenery, customs, and way of life.
Sports
The international spread of ice hockey is largely due to Qym's cultural influence and its importance to Qymish people. Other winter sports have also played a role in spreading Qymish influence throughout Basis, and the association of Qym with those sports.
