This template is used internally by Template:Flagright. It is not intended to be transcluded directly.
Because {{flagright/core}} doesn't seem to work properly for non-sports usages in some cases (possibly related to the absence of the {{{altlink}}} parameter on some country data templates), this template is used as the "core" for {{flagright}}. The code is copied from {{flag/core}}, but has the flag icon and the country link switched.
