Sunneism is a bitheistic or duotheistic religion with adherents throughout Basis.
Sunneists believe that Basis was created by the Divine Couple of Sunne and Mōna, and that Men are their servants.
Beliefs
Divine Couple
Sunneist cosmology identifies two collaborating deities: Sunne and Mōna, who represent a Divine Couple.
Gift of Basis
The Sunneist creation myth states that "Basis is the home of Mankind and the Divine Couple's gift to them, their children." etc.
Role of Mankind
The Book of Life describes Mankind as the Children of the Divine Couple.

Prayer
Prayer in Sunneism is seen as a collective communion with the gods through a greeting.
There are two daily prayers, one at dawn — to greet Sunne — and one at dusk — to greet Mōna.
A gaderung is a place of worship for Sunneists, which serves as a place of prayer and a social center for the community.
Marriage
Sunneists are strictly monogamists and marriage is considered the most sacred act before the gods. According to the Book of Life, a marriage is "a matrimonial alliance, by which a man and a woman comprise between them a community for life, ordered by its natural character for the good of the spouses as well as for the generation and education of children".
As such, the constitutive element of marriage is the consent of the spouses. Any forced marriage is considered void and an insult to the gods.
From marriage a bond is born between the spouses which, by its nature, is perpetual and exclusive. The consent by which the spouses give each other is sealed by the gods themselves, so that the marriage concluded and consummated between a man and woman can never be dissolved.

Sexuality
In Sunneist doctrine, sexuality is a creation of the Divine Couple, like everything in the biological sphere.
Sexuality is therefore essentially something good by nature: it is the natural path for procreation, and all the components of pleasure associated with sexuality, in particular the sexual pleasure associated with the act itself, form in principle a legitimate and desirable thing.
