- Neolitic (c. 6500 – 4000 BCE): Early farming societies emerge in CRADLE OF CIV IN MERAN and PROTO-OTTELIA.
- Copper Age (c. 4000 – 2000 BCE): TBD
- Bronze Age (c. 2000 – 800 BCE): Development of writing, cities, and dynasties in OTHER CIV and Ottelia
- Iron Age (c. 1200 BCE – 300 BCE): The Byrakans establish large, fortified, town-like settlements in Northern Meran (?)
- Ottelian period (c. 300 BCE – 246): The Ottelians dominate Southern and Northern Meran (?)
- Sukats period (246 – 914): The Sukats dominate Northern Meran and expand throughout Meran (?)
- Medieval period (c. 900 – 1500): Fragmentation of Sukatia which breaks up in various kingdoms.
- Post-medieval period (c. 1500 – c. 1800): Qym emerges as a dominant power in Meran.
