Automotive industry in Qym

The automotive industry in Qym is one of the most prominent and largest industries on Basis. In 2440, Qym produced 7,136,394 motor vehicles, ranking as the second largest producer on Basis. That same year, there were 83,615,184 registered motor vehicles, making Qym the third largest automotive market on Basis.
Qym is home to three major automotive manufacturers:
- Cajech, ran by the Cajech family, is headquartered in Tulim and produced around 3.3 million vehicles in Qym in 2440.
- Tarez, ran by the Tarez family, is headquartered in Patsalys and produced around 2.2 million vehicles in Qym in 2440.
- Marnyj, ran by the Marnyj family, is headquartered in Leramy and produced around 1.5 million vehicles in Qym in 2440.
Other minor automotive manufacturers exist but have a marginal impact on the Qymish automotive industry at large, producing less than 100,000 units combined yearly. In terms of auto parts manufacturers, Prykras and Istovody are by far the largest and major players globally.

Production slowed down from 2329 to 2334 with government restrictions to support the war effort. It completely shut down civilian vehicle production in 2334 as the country entered a state of total war. This would last until victory in 2340. U/C
