Aftermath of the Boreal War

The Boreal War was the deadliest military conflict in the history of Basis until the Austral War. More than NUM million people were killed, representing over NUM% of the population of Basis at the time.
In 2340, many regions of Meran were devastated. Approximately NUM million civilians died, and the number of civilian casualties exceeded that of military casualties. Nagur Pact and Great Alliance bombings caused extensive material damage in cities: Lasund and Mülahas were almost completely destroyed. Several districts of Zhol and Dâmõpẽ required reconstruction. Civilian homes were destroyed and the number of homeless reached into the millions. Other cities that suffered greatly include Fepo, Khapo, Nagur, Patsalys and Teurek. Transport and industrial infrastructure were also damaged, resulting in the disabling of thousands of roads, bridges, railways and ports, isolating many towns and villages.
In MONTH 2341, the Basis Development Bank was created, with the initial priority being the reconstruction of Meran and Daroch.
