Thyon–Qym relations, or Qymo–Thyonese relations, are the historical and bilateral relations between the Empire of Thyon and the Kingdom of Qym. The two countries have a long and often contentious relationship stretching back to the Iron Age.

Security and defense cooperation
Qym and Thyon have retained close military and security relations despite the expiration of the Nagur Pact in 2367. The two great powers signed the Qymo–Thyonese Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in 2372, re-establishing a formal defense pact.
Military exercises between the two great powers are held regularly.
Trade
Thyon and Qym are each other's largest trading partners for both exports and imports. In 2440, trade between the two countries amounted to $585.823 billion Methelorian sengs, with the balance of trade favoring Qym, giving Thyon a trade imbalance of negative $43.267 billion. The sectoral breakdown of bilateral trade has remained largely unchanged for decades. Transport equipment represents the largest category of bilateral trade (25% of total trade: 11% automotive manufacturing, 4% automotive equipment, 9% aerospace equipment), followed by finished goods (12%), machinery (11%), metallurgical and metal products (9%), and agri-food products (8%).
Thyon is both Qym's largest customer and supplier. It accounts for 13.3% of Qymish exports, ahead of Prugundy and Methelor (at 10.2% and 9.3% respectively in 2440), and 12.6% of Qymish imports, ahead of Astamon and Prugundy (at 9.5% and 9.4% respectively in 2440). Similarly, Qym is by far Thyon's largest trading partner, accounting for 15.3% of Thyonese exports and 16.6% of Thyonese imports (?).
Furthermore, Thyon structurally records few sectoral surpluses with Qym. Among the top ten sectors of bilateral trade, only electrical and household equipment as well as electronics and optical products show a positive balance in 2440. The Thyon–Qym relationship is characterized by a high number of bilateral investment operations. Generally speaking, Qymish investment flows into Thyon such as stocks tend to exceed Thyonese flows into Qym, according to the Royal Bank of Qym. Beyond large-scale operations in strategic sectors (particularly automotive/batteries, energy, pharmaceuticals, and rail), the bilateral relationship is also marked by numerous smaller projects, especially in border regions.
