The Great Meranian War was a military conflict initially fought between the Cunerian and Ottelian Empires over Byrak, which rapidly turned into a continental conflict with the involvement of the Sukats on the side of the Cunerians. It concluded in 395 CE after the Sukats launched successful campaigns into Southern Meran and sacked Dâmõpẽ, the Ottelian capital. Lasting 28 years, it was the longest continuous conflict of antiquity in Meran.
