Republicanism in Qym is a political position and movement that believes Qym should be a republic. Currently, Qym is an absolute monarchy that has the King of Qym as head of state and head of government.
Supporters of the movement tend to call for a parliamentary democracy based on a RIVAL DEMOCRACY model, with freedom of speech and political pluralism. The republican movement vary in political ideology, ranging from liberals to socialists, anarchists, and TBD and TBD minority activists.
