The Boreal Cooperation Council (BCC) is an international organization focusing on multilateral political and economic initiatives aimed at fostering cooperation, peace, stability and prosperity in the Northern Hemisphere. It has observer status at the Basis Forum and is headquartered in Zhol, Qym.
The Boreal Cooperation Council deals with issues of cooperation among its participating states in the areas of security and human dimensions, such as arms control, terrorism, good governance, energy security, human trafficking, media freedom and national minorities.

The seven official languages of the BCC are Astamonian, Holarian, Prugundian, Qymish, Riudish, Thyonese and Zandomian.
Headquarters
The seat of the Boreal Cooperation Council is in Zhol, Qym. First meetings were held at the Palace of Zhol, but the BCC soon moved into its own building, the Boreal Palace. U/C

Eligibility
There are two main criteria for membership: geographic (the Charter of the BBC stipulates membership is open to sovereign states wholly or partially in the Northern Hemisphere) and political (the Charter of the BBC stipulates every member "must accept the principles of the rule of law and the enjoyment by all persons within its jurisdiction of fundamental rights, and collaborate sincerely and effectively in the realization of the aim of the Boreal Cooperation Council").

Summits
According to the Charter of the BCC, summits shall be held annually at alternating venues hosting the heads of state or heads of government of each member states, at their discretion. The locations of these summits follow the alphabetical order of the member state's name. The charter also dictates that foreign ministers are to hold a summit one month before the annual summit of the heads of states or heads of government. Extraordinary meetings can be called by any two member states.
